  20世纪20年代一40时代,中国正处在一个战乱四起的时期,受到西方列强保护的上海并未受到战争的影响,经济发展较快于内陆,他们寻求庇护的同时带来了大量的资本,商业美术随着经济增长而迅猛发展,商品种类繁多,设计需求也随之扩大,字体设计作为设计元素中不可缺少的一部分,激励一批设计师结合西方艺术大胆的尝试和创新。张光宇是民国时期商业美术的大家,涉猎领域之广,包括舞台布景、漫画、出版物设计与发行、广告画、现代风格家具设计等。他是民国时期的先锋人物,也是现代艺术理念引入我国的代表之一。本文以张光宇的字体设计为研究对象,分析研究其艺术经历与字体设计风格的成因之间的关系:他自小受传统文化熏陶,15岁来到上海拜师学艺?,他从事过广告设计?,他做过绘图专员;辞职后曾东渡日本考察美术;创办发行社,发行刊物。其次,结合张光宇的艺术经历去分析字体设计的源流和创作手法,并深度挖掘字体风格受到的影响。最后,从字体设计时间表和中西文化环境两个部分归纳总结张光宇的字体风格特征:1934年前的字体作品,风格现代、西式;1934年以后的字体作品已形成独特的装饰风格。文章的最后,毕业设计灵感来源于张光宇《民间情歌》,选择从少数民族中的侗族喜事为核心,结合自身观点进行艺术创作,表达出中国地域之广大,中国民族文化之多元,不要因为西式婚姻观的普世,从而忽视和淡忘中国传统民俗。

  Research in the font design of Zhang Guangyu

  Abstract
 

  During the 1920s-'40s, China was in a period of political strife and war. Shanghai, protectedby the Western, was not affected and its economy grew faster inland than those in the conces?sions. Good people or intellectuals at home have created a safe and harmonious environment.Asylum seekers have brought enormous capital at the same time. Commercial art has grown rap?idly with economic growth. With a wide range of commodities, design requirements have alsoexpanded. Font design as an indispensable part of the design element, inspired a generation ofdesigners to innovate boldly.Zhang Guangyu is a commercial artist back then. With advanced ideas in the prosperousShanghai, he is one of the representatives who introduced the concept of modern art into China.Firstly this article takes Zhang's font design as the research object, with study and analysison the relationship between his artistic form and the origin of the font design style. Zhang wasinfluenced by the traditional culture since he was young, until he came to Shanghai to study at 15.Zhang is obsessed in advertising design as a drawing commissioner. After his resignation, hewent to Japan to learn fine arts where he founded a publication. Secondly, it analyzes the originsand creative techniques by researching the experience of Zhang. Finally, in the large scale of fontdesign and the cultural environment of both China and the West, Zhang's style features of fontsare summed up: the style works before 1934 are modern style and western, the post-1934 isunique decorative style.The graduation project is inspired by Zhang's "Folk Love Song". I chose to focus on theDong wedding among ethnic minorities and combine his own point of view with artistic creationto express the vastness of China and the diversity of unique Dong culture.
